Redesigned by YoDaBadDog

I finished this incredible book last night, The Sky is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson. I stayed up way late, couldn't put it down, it's one of those, laughing, crying, had to finish it and didn't want it to end books. She is brilliant. I'm going to buy this one, I said turning out the light. I didn't think I'd be buying it from the library.

Redesigned by YoDaBadDog.

When he is old and forgets how much he likes to shred and eat the sponges I still leave on the edge of the counter this book will be a treasure of his youth.

This is Yossarian, named for you know
Yossarian in Catch 22.
They called him Yo. I call him YoDa Good Dog,
unless of course he isn't
but that's another painting.

This Acrylic painting is 6" x 6" on Arches 140 lb cold press.

Morning at the Lazy D

This is my front yard. We're two miles west of the Strip in Las Vegas.

This is my gal Buckskin Barbie, really it's Misty Blue but she kinda likes That I've discovered her true identity.

This is Little Misty. She's Misty Blue's best friend and lives with her like sisters.
She's a Black Jack Morgan who needed a home a few months back.
So now there are two.
Send me your poor, your tired, your Mistys.
Just kidding two Mistys are enough,

but how lucky we all are to have found each other.

Have a glorious week.

Mermaids Always See the Green Flash

"Mermaids Always See the Green Flash"

When I was a little girl I thought anything was possible, because of course it was. I see at times it still is as the breath of the impossible happens around me and wishes are granted. Love still finds the hearts who reach out and are ready to accept it.

I've added this original painting to my Etsy Shop

Helix's Palomino Valley Grace C.D. Therapy Dog

February 23, 1990 - September 11, 2001

Still Queen of our hearts

"Gracie Volunteers as a Therapy Dog"

"Gracie Volunteers as a Therapy Dog"

Gracie was my first Basset and a born Therapy Dog. Some are born to fetch, or please, she was born to serve with feather boas and tiaras if possible.

So fitting was it that her final act of service would be to leave me at eleven years old to help all those who needed her on the afternoon of September 11, 2001.

It is with great honor that I offer this Limited Edition print of her. This is print number 91 of 250.
Image size is 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" fitting into an 11" x 14" frame with mat. It was scanned from the original art, color matched and printed with love by me Pam Tanzey. It is signed and numbered and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity

You and Me Kid

You and Me Kid is a piece I started years ago of friends from my dog training class days. The drawing was transferred onto wonderful Bockingford Oatmeal tinted watercolor paper waiting all this time for me to finish. It brought back memories of Saturday mornings with nice people having fun with their dogs.

It's 11" 14" and won the Art Diva Queen of the Month of September
from the Art Deva's Group on eBay WooHoo!

2010 Michigan Waddle Logo

Last weekend the Mother of all Basset Hound Rescue Waddles took place in glorious weather in Birmingham Michigan. I created the logo from the sweet face of Harvey the beloved and much missed heart dog of this years Pawction logo winner.
